Ever felt like roaming the streets as a goat? Wanting to see how it would be like? Well, wait no more!
Shit Just Goat Serious!
Goat Simulator is here!
This game has been developed and published by Game Coffee Studios and was recently released on 1st April 2014 on Windows platform.
The game, initially developed as a joke prototype from an internal game jam and shown in an early alpha state in YouTube videos, created a lot of excitement and attention, pushing the studio to build out the game into a releasable state while still retaining various non-breaking bugs and glitches to retain the game’s entertainment value.
Here is what the first screen looks like:
The Game play is simple: players take control of a goat in a small suburban town and are given the freedom to do whatever they want. This goat can jump, lick, do tricks, head butt, sprint, and of course baa!
This game works with point values. Every action, no matter if it’s mischievous or downright malicious, comes with a point value and completing these actions in quick succession helps boost the player’s overall score.
Hey! Want to ram an innocent bystander? You can. Want to head butt a gas station and reduce it to a burning pile of rubble. You can do that too (awesome! ain’t it???).
You will be given various in-game goals, such as achieving a certain height, completing flips, or destroying certain objects, but you are not required to follow these instructions.
here are various game play images to give you a rough idea about the game play!
IGN video review:
Looks good, right? Well you gotta play to know how it really feels like to be a baaaa.. opps! i meant a goat!
There’s something so damn funny about watching a goat create a havoc, and Goat Simulator revels in that and rewards the player accordingly. Once you have run through a load of objectives, there is still loads more exploring to do. What might seem like a fairly small level actually has a surprising amount of nooks and crannies, each offering a new and wholly unexpected experience!
Warning: This game has the tendency to make you laugh so hard that your sides will start hurting!
