Nikon’s New Android Camera


Nikon released its first android camera couple of years ago. Recently, Nikon updated its new version with its updated design, the body is much slimmer with sleek looks. It comes with bigger touch screen of 3.7” inches much larger than the previous version. The  most important thing that it comes with Android 4.2.2 Jelly Bean.


The device has 16 megapixels camera and with up to 12x Optical Zoom. It has built-in Xenon Flash and it makes 1080p Full HD video. Other than that the camera has 4-GB internal storage which can be expanded, Wi-Fi , GPS and headphone jack are also core features of the new version.

As expected being an Android device, Google Services are also built-in , along with that you can access Google Play Store to install other things. Apps can be installed on S810c which means that photo sharing would be easier through messengers like WhatsApp, Viber etc.



As the camera will be having Android 4.2.2 Jelly Bean as its Operating System so it is possible that the all apps which are available for android would be available for the camera as well.

The main feature that will help this camera lead the market would be online photo sharing through messengers which is unique in cameras. Nikon says it will be available in May for $349.
