Yes, this is damn true! Skype, Whatsapp and Viber applications have been banned in the Sindh region of Pakistan. Resources say that this has been implemented because of the ‘security reasons’.

The quesion really is – would Pakistan be banning full access to the Internet one day to secure it’s premises? Or do you think this is a good step towards your protection? Is it really a defense?

All these apps have millions of active users, communicating on daily basis for all the important matters. Skype is one of the most favorite applications that freelancers in Pakistan use. Whatsapp & Viber are now becoming the primary source of communication among the natives as well as people living aboard lavish with this technology.

So these are the services people need – YouTube is another service people of Pakistan are desperate to have in hands again! If there is anything disputed about YouTube, then what about the other resources that are on the Internet? And what about those people who are still accessing YouTube using some good proxy software? Is this a good step or bad? Judge yourself and put your words in public under the comments section.
